Our adventure begins in colorful Old San Juan-or wherever you'd like-and I'll greet you with a smile and a local treat to get your day started-offering a fresh empanadilla, a pastelillo, or a cup of that rich Puerto Rican coffee. You'll meander down cobblestone streets lined with pastel-colored buildings and historic landmarks, making stops for those hidden photo spots and local stories that show the island's fascinating history, from Taíno roots to Spanish colonial influences and modern Caribbean culture.

First, we will go to a local food market or a coastal food stand where you will be able to taste authentic Puerto Rican dishes such as mofongo, alcapurrias, pinchos, or tostones, freshly prepared by locals who have been perfecting those recipes for generations. You'll learn about the island's signature ingredients-plantains, sofrito, and sazón-and the stories behind our most beloved meals.

After satisfying our appetites, it’s time to move to the rhythm of the island! We’ll join a short, fun Bomba & Salsa dance workshop led by local musicians. No experience necessary—just bring your energy and curiosity! You’ll learn the basic steps and the history of these passionate dance forms that connect us to our African and Spanish roots. As the drums beat and hips sway, you’ll feel the joyful pulse that makes Puerto Rico’s culture so alive.

Depending on the day, we will finish our Airbnb Experiences Puerto Rico with a secret beach or viewpoint sunset stop, where you can enjoy perfect views, have a refreshing local drink, and capture that perfect golden-hour photo. It's a very peaceful, unforgettable way to complete the day with ocean breezes and waves.
